DPS TROOPER GETS ANIMAL CLINIC BURGLAR

Just after midnight, Monday Montgomery County Dispatchers were alerted to an alarm call at All Community Animal Hospital on US59 and Ford Road. Several units responded, however, a DPS Trooper was just down the street. As he approached he saw the suspect running northbound on the feeder. The Trooper was able to catch up with him and arrest him in the Captain D’s parking lot. It was determined Jeremy Martin Reeves of 21987 Strickland in Cleveland had stolen some drugs and multiple boxes of HeartGuard, a medication for fleas and heartworms. Reeves was transported to the Montgomery County Jail and charged with burglary of a building and evading arrest. He is being held on a $3500 bond.
