MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX- Most people in southeast Texas have heard of the tragic death of a 13-year-old boy on Thursday, while he was riding his dirt bike on Rogers Road. That’s more stress than any parent should have to endure, but this story gets even worse. The victim, Ekho Wayne French lived with his recently divorced mother, who’s now struggling to come up with enough money for his funeral. She recently sold the home she and her husband shared but is unable to access the funds from the sale at this time. The realtor who sold the house for Ekho’s mom reached out to us to share the need with our readers, in the hopes that people would contribute whatever they could and help Ekho’s mother bury her young son.
The realtor, Crystal Wells, created a GoFundMe page so people could securely make donations. (For those who don’t know, GoFundMe will refund contributions for a year if someone posts a fundraising campaign there and it turns out to be fraud.)
Please take a moment to share this and help if you can.
