HARRIS COUNTY, TX- On Friday, Deputies with Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 24800 block of the Hardy Toll Road. The driver refused to stop, leading deputies on a brief pursuit.
Deputies eventually stopped the vehicle, and the driver was apprehended. He is identified as 41-year-old Stan Elmore, who displayed several signs of intoxication.
A series of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered, and it was determined that he was intoxicated. Further investigation revealed that his BLOOD alcohol content was 0.315, almost four times the legal limit and that he had a prior conviction for Driving While Intoxicated.
“Stan Elmore was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Eluding Police and Driving While Intoxicated -2nd Offense. His total bond was set at $200.00 out of County Court 7,” Constable Mark Herman said.
