There are just two weekends left at the Texas Renaissance Festival and police are urging festival-goers to not drink and drive.
Police will have extra patrols out the next two weekends, looking for drunk drivers leaving RenFest. Officers say they’ve been getting more and more complaints about dangerous drivers leaving the festival and they say DWI numbers back up those complaints.
Both weekends will also be no refusal weekends, meaning suspected drunk drivers will have their blood drawn if they refuse a breathalyzer test.
