MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX- Just before 3 a.m. North Montgomery County Fire Department responded to a major accident call on FM 1484 at Cedar Lane. The first unit arrived on the scene to find an Infiniti G35 rolled over in the ditch, and a 17-year-old girl and a young man, who appeared to be in his twenties, on the ground. First Responders started CPR on the girl, but after MCHD Medics arrived she was pronounced dead. The young man was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
DPS Troopers investigated the crash and determined the girl was driving too fast for conditions. The vehicle left the roadway in a curve, flattening two reflective curve signs before flipping the vehicle, according to the DPS on-scene investigation.
FM 1484 was closed until 9 a.m. The young man was transported to the hospital and has since been released. The victim, who has not yet been identified, was transported to the Montgomery County Forensic Center for autopsy by Eickenhorst Funeral Directors.
