EAST MONTGOMERY COUNTY RESIDENTS COME OUT TO MEET THE RETIRED TEXAS RANGER WHO IS RUNNING FOR MONTGOMERY COUNTY SHERIFF

Over 600 East Montgomery County residents came out to Bull Sallas Park Tuesday evening to take part in a campaign benefit for Retired Texas Ranger Wesley Doolittle. This was his third such event. The first in MAgnolia, then in Conroe and Tuesday was loaded baked potato night in East County. THe Rusty Buckle Restaurant was tasked with preparing over 600 potatoes. In addition to the meal residents were able to meet Doolittle face to face. Many items were donated to use as auction items to help raise money for the campaign. Items included multiple weapons, Texas Rangers belt buckles, fire pits, even a automatic deer feeder donated by Mike Baker with Big Dogg Deer Blinds in Conroe.

Republican Wesley Doolittle is a veteran law enforcement leader and fifth generation Texan who believes the voters of Montgomery County deserve a better choice in the race for Sheriff in the 2024 Republican primary.

Wesley’s career in law enforcement has spanned 23 years. He retired from the Texas Department of Public Safety in 2022 after more than 13 years as a member of the most legendary and elite crimefighting units in Lone Star State history — the Texas Rangers. After retiring from DPS, he chose to continue to serve and now works as a Captain in the Montgomery County Precinct 1 Constable’s Office.

With deep and strong family roots in Montgomery County, where he was raised, Wesley has dedicated his life to service and protecting families from predators who prey on new victims every day. He has a strong record of working with police agencies at all levels on everything from fighting drug cartels on the Texas border and in Houston to working with every possible agency you can imagine on every possible case you can imagine.

Wesley wants to bring his strong record of experience, transparency and building law enforcement alliances that work to Montgomery County. He won’t back down from predators or questions.

And he’ll be the easy one to spot in this race, he’s the one in the white hat.

“Montgomery County is growing because it’s such a great place to work and raise a family. That makes our families tempting targets for predators. The incumbent likes to talk a big game about the Texas-Mexico border. I’ve worked there and it’s tough, no doubt, but I’m more worried about the border between Harris and Montgomery counties. We need stronger leadership at the Sheriff’s Office that works with other agencies. I’m humbly asking for your vote and support. Together we can do better.” Wesley Doolittle, Republican for Montgomery County Sheriff.
