MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX- On October 8, 2025, the Montgomery County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office, serving as lead agency for the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, executed a residential search warrant in East Montgomery County. Assisting agencies included Detectives from the Montgomery County Constable’s Offices Precincts 3 and 5, Agents from the Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations Division (DPS-CID), and Investigators from the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office.
The investigation began after a Precinct 4 ICAC Detective and Task Force Officer received a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). The CyberTip reported that an individual had uploaded child sexual abuse material to a social media platform and was communicating with others to purchase and distribute additional illegal content.
During the course of this investigation, the Precinct 4 ICAC Detective obtained digital evidence confirming that child sexual abuse material was being uploaded to the Internet. Investigators also recovered chat communications indicating that this material was being exchanged and sold for compensation.
Through continued investigative efforts, the suspect was identified as Brandon Dennis Sickafoose, 25 years of age, from New Caney, Texas. Based on the evidence gathered, Precinct 4 Detectives obtained and executed a search warrant at Sickafoose’s residence.
During the execution of the warrant by Precinct 4 Deputies and Special Response Team (SRT), investigators recovered evidence from Sickafoose’s digital devices. Sickafoose admitted to viewing, requesting, and purchasing child sexual abuse material online. Additional evidence was located indicating his possession of lewd visual material depicting a child.
Constable Rowdy Hayden commended his investigators and partner agencies:
“Our ICAC Task Force Detectives work hard to protect children and bring predators to justice. I’m proud of the work our Precinct 4 team continues to lead and grateful for the partnership and support of our fellow Constable Offices, Texas Department of Public Safety, and the District Attorney’s Office.”
