Wednesday night Montgomery County Precinct 4 Constables using several underage volunteers visited 88 establishments in East Montgomery County which sell alcohol. The purpose was to determine if employees would violate the law and sell alcohol to persons under age. Of the 88 businesses only 4 failed to comply and sold to minors. Those 4 were arrested and booked into the Montgomery County Jail THey were charged with furnishing alcohol to a minor. Precinct 4 Constable Rowdy Hayden said he posted warnings over a week ago that a stig was in the future and for employees to check identification before the sale of alcohol. With several recent crashes involving underage drivers being involved it was a safety issue.
