EXPOSING PERSON IN CITY OF KENEFICK-LIBERTY COUNTY

Deputies from the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office made an arrest earlier today in the exposing person case that occurred on Monday, January 4th, on Hwy. 1008 at a local gas station in south Liberty county. Investigators acting on a cell phone photograph of the suspects license plate number taken by the victim of the exposer as he fled the scene developed evidence and information that led them to file charges and arrest MATHEW GERALD McBRIDE, DOB 2-20-92 who lives on CR 301 South just off Hwy. 321 in south county.

A photo line-up was shown to the victim where she picked out the suspect easily. It was found that McBride was wanted on three (3) outstanding traffic warrant which were served on him by Captain Mark Ellington and Deputy John Mendoza. They reported that McBride offered no resistance and denied that he exposed himself. A 3rd. degree Felony charge of “Indecency with a Child by Exposing” was filed on McBride and he has been placed in the Liberty County Jail. Capt. Ellington stated that the investigation is continuing to determine if any further charges will be filed.
