Just after 9 p.m. Saturday night Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office assisted by DPS, Caney Creek Fire Department and MCHD responder to a family disturbance with fire on Lazy Oaks Drive in the Lake Wildwood Subdivision. When they arrived they found a Mitsubishi convertible fully involved in flames.
According to the family the female owner was at here mothers home after being assaulted by her husband two nights in a row. Her husband arrived at the location and threatened to burn the mobile home down.
Moments later family members noticed her car in flames in the street.
The suspect has not yet ben taken into custody.
Names have not yet been released.
