Thursday afternoon just after 4 pm two vehicles were racing south on I-69. After passing a vehicle they came back together side by side. The white pickup clipped the other vehicle sending it into the guardrail. That guardrail penetrated the door killing the 20-year-old driver. A female in the passenger seat and a teen in the back seat was uninjured. Houston Fire Fighters spent over an hour cutting the victim from the wreckage. The white pick-up fled the scene. Houston Police worked the crash. They were assisted by the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office Vehicular Crimes Unit. Montgomery County Precinct 4 Justice of the Peace Jason Dunn pronounced the victim deceased and ordered Eickenhorst Funeral Directors to transport the victim to the Montgomery County Forensic Center for autopsy.
