DPS Troopers are still investigating a single vehicle accident that occurred just before 2 a.m. this morning at in the 32000 block of North Lite at Long Neck in far west Montgomery County.
When Magnolia Fire Department arrived on the scene they found two victims trapped in the Chevrolet pickup that struck a tree. Life Flight was dispatched from the Hooks Airport base and transported one of the passenger to Hermann Hospital in Houston in critical condition.
The driver, a 25-year-old male was pronounced dead at the scene.
