Just after noon an 80-year-old man was driving west on Chateau Woods Drive in his mini-van with his wife at his side. When he approached the 300 block he swerved to the left, drove through the cable dividing both sides of the road and struck a wishing well i a yard.
DPS Sgt. Barnhill believes the man had a heart attack or related health issue.
Prior to the accident helped his wife into the vehicle and had exerted himself.
Barnhill said an autopsy would be done at the Southeast Forensic center,
