Approximately 3:15 p.m. Montgomery County Hospital District and Magnolia Fire Department were dispatched to a motorcycle accident on FM 149 near Majestic Oaks. The location is approximately one mile south on FM 1488 on 149.
Medics worked on the motorcycle rider for almost thirty minutes before it was determined he could not be revived. A resident said she was so impressed how emergency workers switched back and forth working on the motorcycle driver.
A witness that had been behind the motorcycle for an extended time told troopers the driver never went over the speed limit, was stopping at lights and seemed to have complete control of the bike. It is when he came out of the curve as he was southbound on 149 that he was going straight but then started to drift to the right. The driver struck a driveway, went airborne. When the bike landed it started to roll coming to rest just north of the entrance of The Falls of Wildwood subdivision.
The driver of the motorcycle is approximately sixty-years-old from Houston. His identity has not been released until family notification can be made.
The motorcycle, a 2012 Harley Davidson had sixty miles on it. The driver did have a helmet.
