Just before 8 pm Montgomery County 911 started getting multiple calls reporting a Honda passenger vehicle had slammed into the rear of an 18-wheeler. North Montgomery County Fire Department arrived on the scene to find a 29-year-old female in the front seat of a vehicle that had suffered massive damage. The female, who was not entrapped was transported to Conroe Regional Medical Center in critical condition. She was pronounced deceased on arrival. DPS Troopers investigating the crash determined an 18-wheeler had broken down and was parked on the shoulder of the road.  The truck was loaded with plastic mats used in the construction industry for heavy equipment to travel on. The driver placed reflective triangles in the road as required by law. For unknown reasons the vehicle left the main lanes, struck all the reflective markers then slammed into the rear of the 18-wheeler. I-45 was shut down for several hours as the investigation continued. Milstead Wrecker Service responded to the scene . With the extensive damage to the trailer a dolly was required. Once it was in place the trailer ad to be backed up almost 3 miles on the freeway for them to safely get it off. Another truck loaded the tractor and yet another for the vehicle. The freeway was completely cleared by 2 am. The name of the victim has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.

Kathy, I won’t try to defend Scott. That’s not my job. What Scott does is to respond to accident or crime scenes, take pictures and or videos and then puts it out there for anyone’s perusal. The additional info he puts out is relayed to him by the LEO’s on scene. By the time it’s posted on this site, there’s a 95% chance the victims next of kin was already notified. Especially where everyone has a cell phone. I hope this helps.

I was wondering why you write an article about this car crash and say ” the victims name is not being released until the next of kin can be notified yet you showed pictures of that horrific crash in detail including the car CLEARLY showing the licence plates.
First it was said that she was a 29 year old woman
    Second you show the car
Third you show the licence plate of the car.
if any one in her family seen that I promise you they were notified, by you.
Please tell me why you go into such depth about that accident before her family knew she was even in an accident and not one word about a CONROE TEXAS OFFICER WRECKING A PATROL CAR,YESTERDAY, 03/10/2018 NOT ONE WORD??
Wilson road about 4;30 in the afternoon?
I know this wont get posted (on HERE) so Ill just copy it all before I send it to real journalist and see how they like your work.
