At 12:45am Conroe Fire was dispatched to a major accident on North Loop 336 near Airport Road. A Camaro that had been traveling east on Loop 336 left the roadway and slammed into the driveway/culvert at the John Deere dealership. The vehicle then traveled over 100 yards before coming to rest and bursting into flames. The person who is believed to be the driver was ejected and pronounced deceased on the scene. A second person who was ejected was transported in critical condition. Conroe Police are investigating the crash.
