PRESS RELEASE – Sept. 16, 2009
On 09-15-09, approximately 11:30 pm, Conroe Police patrol officers and members of the Community Oriented Response Team (CORT) responded to a reported major accident in the 15300 block of I-45 South in Conroe. The CORT unit investigates traffic related incidents that result in the death or possible death of any person.
Investigators learned that a 1995 Ford Explorer was traveling southbound on the I-45 main lanes and for an undetermined cause, the driver lost control of the vehicle. According to evidence at the scene and witness accounts, the vehicle left the roadway.
