A driver on FM 1484 witnesses a mini-van in front of him as he traveled south on FM 1484. He attempted to call 911 but the signal was lost several times. The female driver of the van was unable to maintain a lane and was driving down the centerline. As he was able to get 911 on the phone near Miller Road the van slammed into a Chevrolet pickup head-on. NMC Fire was dispatched to the scene and reported four victims in the pickup. The driver of the pickup was deceased. Three others were transported to Conroe Regional Hospital in critical condition. The driver of the van who was on probation for DWI was transported in stable condition. DPS is investigating the crash along with the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office Vehicular Crimes Unit. FM 1484 reopened at about 9:30 pm.
