A little after 6:30 pm Tuesday, a CISD Officer was returning to the CISD Headquarters on North Loop 336 East in Conroe. She had been northbound on the loop, and as the officer turned into the driveway, a southbound motorcycle, traveling at a high rate of speed, came around the curve and slammed into the passenger door of the patrol unit. He was ejected. A deputy Constable stopped and performed CPR on the victim until EMS arrived within minutes. The motorcyclist was pronounced deceased on the scene. Conroe Police shut down the Loop as they investigated the crash. District Attorney Mike Holley, along with his Vehicular Crimes Unit, also responded to the scene to assist the Conroe Police. The investigation is not complete as of yet. The victim was transported to the Montgomery County Forensic Center by Eickenhorst Funeral Directors.

This evening, a Conroe ISD Police Department vehicle was involved in an accident with a motorcycle near North Loop 336. Tragically, the driver of the motorcycle passed away. The incident is currently under investigation by the City of Conroe Police Department and Montgomery County District attorney’s office. Conroe ISD Police are fully cooperating with the investigation. At this time, no additional information is available. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by this tragedy.
