Just before midnight Tuesday Conroe Police were dispatched to a reported one vehicle crash on Crighton Road at Crighton Ridge. Units were met by Conroe Fire and MCHD on the scene. According to Montgomery County Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace Wayne Mack, a 27-year-old Conroe man was traveling east on Crighton Road at a high rate of speed and lost control causing his 2016 Nissan Maxima to crash into a tree, the male was pronounced dead on the scene by Judge Mack who ordered Eickenhorst Funeral Directors to transport the victim to the Montgomery County Forensic Center for autopsy.
