Just after 2:30pm Saturday Magnolia Fire Department responded to a crash at Woodlands Parkway and FM 2978. Units arrived with a female passenger of a Honda Accord in cardiac arrest. CPR was initiated but she was pronounced deceased on the scene by MCHD Medics. According to witnesses the Honda Accord was traveling southbound on FM 2978 when the driver made a U-turn. A Ford F-250 was northbound and slammed into the passenger door where the female was seated. The driver of the Honda, a male in his 60’s was transported to the hospital in critical condition. The driver and passenger of the Ford were also transported to the hospital with minor injuries. DPS investigated the crash and will release details at a later time. FM 2978 northbound was closed for several hours.
