CONROE, TX — A tragic head-on collision early Wednesday morning claimed the life of a 27-year-old man and left two others injured.
At approximately 6:44 a.m. on June 11, 2025, Conroe Police officers responded to the 400 block of West Wally Wilkerson Parkway following reports of a serious crash. Upon arrival, officers discovered a silver GMC truck and a black Chevrolet SUV with extensive front-end damage, indicating a violent impact.
The Montgomery County Hospital District and Conroe Fire Department arrived shortly after and immediately began life-saving efforts. Despite their attempts, the driver of the Chevrolet SUV was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the same vehicle and the driver of the GMC truck were both transported to local hospitals for medical treatment.
The Conroe Police Department has launched an investigation into the cause of the crash. As of now, no further details have been released.
