At about 6:30 pm a father and son were traveling south on I-69. Just after passing the Roman Forest overpass, the Dodge Durango went into the grass median. the vehicle traveled at least one-quarter of a mile tearing guardrail posts up before coming to the Caney Creek overpass. There the vehicle went between the northbound and southbound I-69 bridges and crashed to the roadway in the u-turn lane below. Both were trapped in the vehicle. East Montgomery County Fire and Porter Fire were able to get the occupants out. MCHD transported them to HCA Kingwood. DPS investigated the crash. MCSO and Precinct 4 Constables assisted in traffic control.
