Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department is pleased to announce that on Monday May 11th, Station 7 will be having a Fire Engine completely staffed with an all-female crew.  We are very proud of these dedicated, accomplished and highly trained women.  Station 7 is currently located at 20444 Cypresswood Drive near 290 and Mason Road. The members of the crew will be the following:

· Lieutenant Mary Peyton Miller

· Jessica Bomar,

· Jessica Insell,

· Victoria Clark

· Amanda Meek.

Four of the five member crew, are fully released firefighters within the department. Amanda Meek is about to graduate cadet class as a Probationary Firefighter.  Mary Peyton Miller currently serves as one of the four station officers at Station 7.  Prior to coming to Station 7, both Jessica Bomar and Lt. Miller served with other departments.  Individually, these women have satisfied the requirements to achieve their Texas Certification on Fire Prevention or equivalent within another state department.  Three of the aforementioned firefighters have also attained their Emergency Medical Technician Status or higher.

We are extremely proud of all these volunteers as they share a common bond of balancing life, family, education, careers and volunteerism within the Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department.
