According to Cleveland Police Officers who arrived on scene, they learned that a 2008 Honda Civic, blue in color, was traveling southbound on U.S. Hwy. 59/ I-69 when it suddenly veered into the center concrete divider. After striking the divider, the vehicle steered back into the main lanes of travel and appeared “out of control” and started to roll over, flipping several times before coming to rest on its roof.

EMS began medical procedures at the scene and immediately loaded and transported the injured driver to HCA Kingwood Houston Healthcare- Kingwood emergency room. Officers later learned the female driver succumbed to her injuries from the tragic one-vehicle accident.
All Hwy. 59 southbound traffic was diverted onto the southbound feeder road at the Texas 105 west Conroe exit for several hours. The accident is being investigated by Cleveland Police Department officers: T. Brown, W. Bullard, and Sgt. Edwards.
