Early Saturday morning Forest Bend FIre assisted Friendswood Fire on a large structure fire in the 1300 block of Deepwood Drive. Longtime Forest Bend FIre Chief John Norris returned home from the blaze. Chief John Norris has served the Forest Bend for nearly 18 years as a firefighter, safety officer, and assistant chief. He also has over 30 years of EMS and fire service experience with the Houston Fire Department Station 29..
