Just after 9:30 Wednesday morning Cut and Shoot and Caney Creek Fire Departments were dispatched to a house fire in the 16700 block of Hi-line Drive off Crockett Martin. When the first engine arrived they had a structure totally involved and requested an additional engine from North Montgomery County Fire Department.
The fire was quickly brought under control but was a total loss. The owners of the home included a four-year-old and a six-year-old child.
Kevin Bates with the Montgomery County Fire Marshal’s Office responded to the scene and is investigating the cause.
