At 1:05 pm Saturday Montgomery County Fire received a call for a double-wide mobile home fire in the 18700 block of Oak Ridge int he Security area of North Montgomery County. First calls reported the porch on fire and a female in a wheelchair and several dogs were trapped. North Montgomery County, Caney Creek, and East Montgomery County Fire units were dispatched. As they were en route new reports came in that everyone had safely evacuated the structure. First units on the scene reported heavy fire throughout the home. The home suffered extensive damage. The Montgomery County Fire Marshal is investigating.
