Just before 11 am North Montgomery County Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 10600 block of Royal Pine off Rose Road. The first units arriving on the scene reported fire coming through the roof of the single story wood frame house. As crews entered the home part of the roof collapsed.
Montgomery County Assistant Fire Marshal Scott Burlin is on the scene and stated it was an attic fire but the investigation is continuing. The renters of the home were not home at the time of the fire.
