Just after 9pm Magnolia Fire Department responded to a structure fire on FM 2978 just south of Woodlands Parkway. They arrived to find smoke showing on the outside of the brick covered house and steel building. Firefighters spent several minutes attempting to locate the fire in the buildings but quickly extinguished it once it was located. Magnolia was assisted by The Woodlands and Needham Road Fire Department. The Montgomery County Fir Marshal’s Office will be investigating the cause of the blaze. The lone occupant was uninjured.
