FIRE / TRAFFIC ALERT NEW CANEY

Carpenter Bee Drive – firefighters are on location trying to contain another out of control fire off of that street.  Most area fires began with an illegal burn by someone ignoring the burn ban.

Those caught burning ANYTHING in Montgomery County now will be fined at least $1,000. If the fire spreads from their property and damages someone else’s property, the fine jumps to $1,500, in addition to the possibility of being sued in civil court.
