A gun was found at Spring High School Campus Wednesday morning. A tip was received that a gun was brought in and was in the theatre. Spring ISD Police responded and quickly found the gun. The student involved has been identified and action is being taken.

IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE REGARDING CAMPUS INCIDENT
Dear Spring High School Parents and Guardians,
I want to inform you about an incident that occurred earlier today. We received a tip that a firearm had been brought onto campus and was located in the theatre. Spring ISD Police immediately responded and I’m relieved to report that the firearm was safely retrieved without incident. The student involved has been identified and detained and will face both school disciplinary actions as well as criminal charges. Our Spring ISD Police Department is thoroughly investigating how the gun made it on campus, however, for now, be assured that all students are safe.
