FLOOD WARNING-MANY ROADS ALREADY FLOODED

Flood Warning issued April 7 at 6:33 PM CDT until April 7 at 9:30 PM CDT by NWS Houston/Galveston TX
Alert: * WHAT…Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is
occurring.
* WHERE…A portion of southeast Texas, including the following
counties, Grimes, Montgomery, and Waller.
* WHEN…Until 930 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 627 PM CDT, Emergency management reported flooding in the
warned area. Montgomery County OEM reports high water along
the following roadways: Glenmont Estates Blvd at Rose Circle,
N Mount Mariah Road at FM 1486, 27000 block of Johnson Road,
FM 149 between Flamingo Lakes and Bailey Grove Road, Old
Dobbin Road at Country Road, 10200 block of County Line Road,
Millmac Road at Willis Waukegan, and FM 149 at Stillwater
Blvd.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Northeastern Conroe, Willis, Pinehurst, Panorama Village,
Magnolia, Cut And Shoot, Montgomery, Stagecoach, Todd
Mission, Lake Conroe Dam and Dobbin.
Instructions: Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
