Plum Grove Fire and J and J wrecker have been assisting motorists to escape from flood water they drove into on CR 5000 and on Plum Grove. One of those vehicles was a Cleveland ISD bus which attempted to turn around and slipped off in the ditch loaded with children. However, when Plum Grove Firefighters attempted to hook a winch line to it to prevent the water from carrying the bus away the Cleveland ISD Transportation refused to allow them to do so. The bus was finally removed and the children were safe. Areas along FM 2090 had excessive water in yards and streets, and O’Connor Drive was under water, also first and Ipes. Waters are slowly receding but rivers and creeks are rising .
