FM 1314 CRASH SENDS FOUR TO HOSPITAL

A mother and her two children were transported to the hospital shortly before 7pm Sunday night following a crash. She was traveling north on FM 1314 approaching Gulf Coast Road in her Volkswagen SUV. Another female driving a Mazda was traveling west on Gulf Coast and pulled out in front of the Volkswagen causing the crash. FM 1314 was closed for over an hour as DPS assisted by Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office investigated the crash. Law Enforcement learned that the 48-year-old female driving the Mazda had no drivers license as it expired 15-years-ago. Caney Creek Fire assisted MCHD with patient care. Barsch Towing towed the Mazda and Bass Towing removed the Volkswagen. Northbound traffic was diverted to FM 3083 by way of Gulf Coast Road. Southbound traffic was at a standstill.
