FM 1486 STILL REMAINS CLOSED AFTER FATAL CRASH

A single vehicle crash on Old 105 at FM 1486  took the life of a 17-year-old Sunday morning. Two other passenger were injured. The driver and one passenger were ejected. The driver died at the scene. The SUV they were driving was traveling south on FM 1486 when it entered a curve in the road. The vehicle went off the right side of the road, over corrected and flipped. DPS Troopers continue to investigate. Additional information when available.

At this time FM 1486 just north of the tracks is closed , however you can travel to the right on the split to get around the crash scene.
