FOOT PURSUIT ENDS IN HOTEL

A traffic stop by Shenandoah Police turned into a brief foot pursuit Friday when the driver, identified as James Hollingsworth, abruptly pulled into the Red Robin parking lot, exited the vehicle, and took off running.
Officers quickly pursued the male suspect, who ran approximately half a mile before entering a nearby hotel. Police were able to locate and take the individual into custody without further incident. Shenandoah was assisted by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, the Montgomery County Precinct 3 Constables Office, DPS, and Oak Ridge Police.
He was booked into the Montgomery County Jail for evading arrest. Hios bond was set at $750.
