At 1053 Tuesday morning Montgomery County Hospital District was dispatched to a one vehicle roll over crash at Marks Drive and FM 2090 just west of Splendora, They found a pickup had gone through the bushes on the south side of the road , rolled over and hit a tree. The driver, long time Splendora resident and former Montgomery County Precinct 4 Chief Deputy C.R, “Bob” Fuller was entrapped in the vehicle. Splendora Firefighters cut the roof from the truck but it was determined Fuller has passed away.
Montgomery County Precinct 4 Justice of the Peace James Metts responded to the scene with Constable Rowdy Hayden. Mett’s who believes the crash may have been medical related ordered Eickenhorst Funeral Directors to transport Fuller to the Montgomery County Forensic Center for autopsy.
