MCSO PRESS RELEASE:
On Friday, November 6, 2015, at approximately 12:30 AM, Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division were originally dispatched to a panic alarm call at a gas station/convenience store, (Valero), located in the 12400 block of FM 3083, in Conroe, Texas. While Deputies were in route to the location, the call was changed to a robbery that had just occurred.
Upon Deputies arrival, they discovered a clerk at the location with a head injury and a gunshot wound to the upper leg/buttock area. It was reported that three males entered the store, brandishing handguns, and demanding money. One of the male suspects reportedly, “pistol whipped”, the clerk on his head. The clerk then proceeded to open the cash register and was witnessed by one of the actors pressing a panic alarm button. Two of the suspects discharged their handguns, with one of the rounds striking the clerk in the upper leg/buttocks area. The three actors then fled the location with an undisclosed amount of money.
While Deputies were working the robbery, other Deputies were dispatched to a separate call involving a missing person juvenile. When the Deputies arrived at that location, they discovered that the juvenile that was being reported as missing had arrived home. Deputies were able to discovered information leading to the juvenile being a suspect in the robbery mentioned above.
Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Units and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene. After investigating, the suspect, the reported missing person juvenile that was identified at another scene, was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery. The other two suspects involved in the robbery have been identified and attempts are being made to locate these other suspects. The investigation is on-going at this time.
