Shepherd VFD, Allegiance Mobile Health EMS and other officials, along with Shepherd ISD PD are responding to a reported odor of gas inside Shepherd Middle School. Officials have evacuated the school as a precaution until the Fire Department can ensure there is no active gas leak. Please watch for emergency vehicles, avoid the area, and await further instructions from the School District or officials. There is no need to go to the campus at this time, all students are safe and under the direct supervision of school and law enforcement officials.
