On Monday October 28, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call at 1:48 PM, in reference to a welfare concern on the property of the Stone Bridge Church. The Stone Bridge Church is located at #1 Stone Bridge Church Drive, in The Woodlands, Texas.
Two people were playing disk golf, when they discovered a body in the woods. The caller advised he believed that a body was lying near a recreational area, on the church property. Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office units responded to the location and located a deceased subject. Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit were called to the scene.
The body of the deceased will be transported to the Montgomery County Forensics Center, in Conroe, for an autopsy.
The Montgomery County Sherriff’s Office Major Crimes Detective Division has identified the deceased body as Micaela C. Hernandez-Juarez, 38 year old female, of Spring.
During the course of the investigation, it was learned that Ms. Hernandez-Juarez had been reported missing by her family on October 19, 2013. This case was being actively investigated by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Person Crimes Division.
Through the subsequent investigation, detectives were able to learn that Ms. Hernandez-Juarez and her husband (Uriel Juarez) had been playing disk golf, at this location, when an argument began. The verbal altercation became physical and resulted in Ms. Hernandez-Juarez’s death.
Uriel David Juarez, 35 year old male, of Spring, was arrested and charged in Ms. Hernandez-Juarez death. Mr. Juarez is currently in the Montgomery County Jail, on a charge of Murder, with a $500,000.00 bond.
