PROGRESS CONTINUES FOR ZACHRY-ODEBRECHT AND THE GRAND PARKWAY Complete closures scheduled at I-45 North, US 59/ I-69 and US 290 for Grand Parkway construction
INTERSTATE 45
Zachry-Odebrecht Parkway Builders is making significant progress on Segments F-1, F-2 and G of the Grand
Parkway. Construction crews will be setting beams over northbound and southbound mainlanes of I-45 North and
the future Grand Parkway interchange. In the interest of safety of both crews and the traveling public, there
will be a total closure of the I-45 North northbound mainlanes from East Cypresswood Dr. to FM 2920 starting
at 8 pm Saturday, July 12 to 6 am Sunday, July 13. Traffic will be diverted onto the frontage road. There will
also be a total closure of the I-45 North southbound frontage road and three right lanes of I-45 North at
Spring Crossing beginning at 8 pm Friday, July 11 to 6 am Saturday, July 12. Traffic will be detoured onto the
left lane of I-45 southbound mainlanes.
US59/I69
In addition, crews will be setting support beams over US 59/I-69 northbound mainlanes and frontage road and
removing structure casting over southbound mainlanes. To accomplish the work, there will be a total closure
of US 59 northbound mainlanes and frontage roads at FM 1314 and southbound mainlanes from FM 1485 to Community
Dr. beginning 8 pm Friday, July 11 through 6 am Monday, July 14. The northbound traveling public will be
detoured onto the frontage road to Community Drive Loop. The southbound traveling public will be detoured
onto the frontage road.
US290
Structures work is also continuing on US 290 requiring a total closure of westbound mainlanes from Mueschke
Road to Bauer Road beginning 8 pm Friday, July 11 to 6 am Monday, July 14. The traveling public will be
detoured onto the frontage roads. The Bauer Road entrance ramp will be closed during the closures. The
entrance ramp for SH-99 will remain open.
Law enforcement will be onsite to help ensure the safety of motorists and help maintain traffic. To view all
