GRANGERLAND — Just after 7:30 p.m. Caney Creek Firefighters responded to a reported major accident at the intersection of Old Texaco and FM 3083. When they arrived they found 2 vehicle with heavy damage. Even though with the extent of the damage there were no injuries. A Conroe driver who had just picked up dinner in Grangerland was northbound on FM 3083 turning toward his home on Old Texaco Road As he waited for traffic to clear a young female driver with a small child who also was northbound did not see the vehicle in front of her on the wet roads and slammed into the rear of the vehicle.
FM 3083 was closed for close to thirty minutes as the crash was cleared.
