Grimes County Deputies Bust Willis Man

GRIMES COUNTY, TX- On Wednesday, around 1:30 a.m., Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a burglary in progress at 8279 Hwy 90 N. in Roans Prairie. Deputies arrived as suspect, Jacob Andrew Gaiser, of Willis, was getting into his pickup truck to leave. Their investigation showed several storage units had their locks sawed off and several items of property being taken. Several items were returned, but there’s still property that hasn’t been identified.

The attached trailer was stolen from Tractor Supply in Huntsville. It still had a price tag on
it. Gaiser was also allegedly in possession of methamphetamine. Deputies arrested Gaiser, who’s charged with two counts of state jail felony Burglary of Building and second-degree felony Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, more than 4 grams, but less than 200 grams.

GCSO says Gaiser may be linked to other storage unit burglaries in surrounding counties. Anyone with information regarding the suspect or burglary, should contact Grimes County Sheriff’s Office at (936)873-2151 or Grimes County Crime Stoppers at P3tips.com
