guNS AND DRUGS FOUND IN SOUTH COUNTY

On June 18th approximately 6:30am deputies with Montgomery County Precinct 3 Constables Office was dispatched to the 1900 block of West Welsford on a welfare check. A white male was reported to be walking up and down the street wearing a wet bathing suit and appeared disoriented as he spoke out loud to himself.

When deputies arrived in the area the observed a white male matching the description exit a residence on the street. He began to wave at deputies attempting to get them to stop. As the deputy approached him he started talking incoherently and seemed to be hallucinating.

MCHD was notified and responded to the scene. The Paramedic determined the male needed to be transported to the hospital. The man told them his room mate was inside to notify him that he was being transported to the hospital.

When the room mate did not respond as they stepped into the home and called out the deputies became concerned for his welfare. Checking the home they entered a bedroom where they observed several plastic bags of marijuana. They also found several lamps used to grow the plants indoors. In another room they did locate the room mate Raymond Clary. He was taken outside and detained.

A search warrant was then obtained and deputies recovered 8.5 pounds of marijuana, 800 grams of black market Xanax packed in sealed drinking straws. More than 2000 pills were found. In addition 7 hand guns and 4 rifles and more marijuana plants with growing equipment.

Raymond Clary was arrested for possession of marijuana with additional charges for possession pending. Warrants are being sought through the District Attorney’s Office for the homeowner who was transported to the hospital by MCHD.image
