Bottom Line
Periods of primarily rain with isolated thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. As of now, severe weather is not anticipated. Some thunderstorms could briefly become strong, producing a quick 1 to 3 inches of rain, frequent lightning and gusty winds.
Overview
A near stationary inland cold front will provide the focus within a more moist environment for the development of periods of rain with isolated thunderstorms. Slower moving rain or storm clusters could produce an 1 to 3 inches of rain with localized 3 inches
possible. Greater than than 2 inches per hour may produce nuisance flooding issues. Isolated thunderstorms may also produce frequent lightning and gusty winds in excess of 30 mph.
