HANNA UPDATE

Hurricane Hanna will make landfall today along the South Texas coast.

Although storm center will track well south, rainbands on the northern side will bring showers and thunderstorms and potential for flash flooding, especially coastal counties. Heaviest rains will be today but could be another round tomorrow. An average 2 to 4 inches is possible most coastal areas…but up to 8 inches could occur in heavier bands.

Coastal flooding and gusty winds also a concern for coastal areas, especially south of San Luis Pass. Also, an isolated tornado will be possible.

Marine hazards will be significant with high seas and winds.

See attached for more details including a more detailed impact table.

No additional webinars are anticipated.
