Many people in the Spring Fire Department or Cypress Creek EMS know Cotton Weaver. Cotton Weaver was a former chief of the Spring Fire Department from its 1953 inception. Cotton and his late wife Barbara then joined Cypress Creek EMS as volunteers in the early 80’s just completed over 30 years of volunteer service. Over all his years, he has helped save millions of dollars in property damage from fires and helped save countless lives. Cotton is also the proud holder of an award for donating over 30 gallons of blood over the years.
