Hardy Toll Road is closed at Richey southbound and northbound at Greens Road, after several motorcycles tried to take over the Toll Road which in turn caused a crash involving a Harris County Off-Duty Deputy. Southbound exit FM 1960 to avoid delays. Northbound exit Beltway 8 to avoid.
UPDATE-At 11:20 this morning, HCSO VCD responded to multiple crashes at 18100 Hardy Toll Road in the south and northbound lanes. Witnesses reported multiple motorcyclists driving recklessly. An off-duty HCSO Deputy was in the area at the same time. In an attempt to evade a crash with the motorcyclists, the deputy crashed into a wall and was taken to a nearby hospital. Four other vehicles were involved in the crash and one motorcycle. We will post more updates as they become available.
