At 10:30pm Harris County Sheriff’s Department and ESD1 were requested when an Aldine Fire Department unit discovered a vehicle parked inside a building in the 1100 block of Aldine Bender.
When deputies arrived at what appeared to be a tire shop they were told a female employee was leaving the business when two black males carrying what appeared to be rifles approached her as she had gotten into her SUV in an attempt to rob her. Seeing this she fully depressed the accelerator in an attempt to run them over.
She missed the suspects who got away but ran her SUV all the way into the building.
As sheriff’s deputies investigated it was discovered that almost thirty eight liner machines were inside the business and that the tire store was next door to the business separated by a common wall. Next to what had been the front door was a sign stating members must have their membership cards and no new members were being accepted.
As wreckers started to hook up to the vehicle the owner advised deputies she wanted it to remain in the building as it was her vehicle and her business. After some time the wreckers dispersed and the vehicle remained inside the building. No arrests were made and there were no injuries.
